Cela fait belle lurette que je n'ai pas posté de nouveauté... Il faut dire que la confection de mon book de graphisme me prend beaucoup de temps... Et je viens d'arriver à mon moment préféré du projet : découper du papier à des fins illustratives ^^
Ci-dessus vous pouvez voir une toute petite partie du packaging et identité visuelle que j'ai réalisés pour ce projet, ainsi que le début de ce qui servira à confectionner les annonces presse en la présence de ces mini fruits ^^

Bientôt plus de mise à jour et surtout, la reprise des pinceaux !!! :D

Helo !

It's been a really long time that I haven't posted new stuff... Well, we can say that the making of my graphic design book is taking me a lot of time... And I just reached my favorite part of the project : cuting paper for illustration purposes ^^
Above you can see a very little part of the packaging and visual identity that I've realised for this project, as well as the beginning of what will be used to make the press ads thanks to these mini fruits ^^

Soon more updates and most of all, my hands back on paintbrushes !!! :D

Catching up...

Hello hello ! 
Je sais, je suis bien en retard sur ce blog... Et pourtant ! J'ai deux petites choses à vous montrer :) 
Ci-dessus, une version alternative de mon projet en papier découpé. Le visuel était prévu pour autre chose mais j'ai préféré ne pas le dévoiler ici et au lieu de ça le détourner pour vous proposer quelque chose de plus "abstrait", dans le sens où on reste sur de la mise en page de typo sans but précis :) Cela peut être une carte postale, une pochette d'album... Ce qu'on veut ! ^^

La deuxième chose, ci-dessous, est une nouvelle figurine en pâte à sel d'après mes cartes postales hivernales. J'ai eu la subite envie de modeler à nouveau et je me suis énormément amusée à peindre ce petit personnage !! J'espère qu'il vous plaît aussi :)

Hello hello !
I know, I am late on that blog... And still ! I have two little things to show you :)
Above, here is an alternate version of my project made with cut paper. The visual was planned for something else but I prefered not to unveil it here and instead turn it into something more "abstract" to show you, in the way that we stay onto something typography related without any specific aim :) It can be a postcard, an album cover... Anything we want ! ^^

The second thing, below, is a new figurine made out of salty dough after my wintery postacards. I got the sudden need to model again and had a lot of fun painting this little character !! I hope that you like it too :)

INKTOBER ! (Part.1)

HELLO !

Voilà maintenant plusieurs semaines, voire plusieurs mois, que je n'avais rien posté ici ! Entre des activités personnelles, un deuxième petit travail qui me prend quand même pas mal de temps, pas d'internet pendant presque 1 mois et tout simplement la vie, je n'ai pas pu trouver beaucoup de temps pour dessiner. Mais on ne se change pas et ma passion pour l'illustration commençait à se faire sentir. Alors, à la veille du mois d'Octobre, je me suis souvenue que je souhaitais me lancer dans le challenge Inktober. Un bon moyen pour se remettre dans le bain en douceur.
Comme je n'avais internet que sur mon téléphone jusqu'à présent, cela m'était compliquer de poster ici. Aussi, nous sommes déjà le 19 Octobre et je vais donc partager en bloc tous les Inktober que j'ai réalisés jusqu'à maintenant. Vous remarquerez qu'il n'y a que 14 dessins... Oui, je suis en retard, mais point d'inquiétude, les 31 dessins seront là à la fin du mois :)

Ah oui, et pour ceux qui ne le savent pas en fait, le challenge Inktober consiste en un dessin à l'encre par jour pendant tout le mois d'Octobre :) Mon interprétation en fait un dessin à l'encre en noir et blanc car ce sont des techniques que je ne maîtrise pas bien, donc double intérêt, mais la couleur est possible, tant que c'est un type d'encre ! :)

HELLO !

It's been now several weeks, or even several months, that I hadn't posted anything here ! In between personal activities, a second little job that still takes me quite a lot of time, no internet for almost a month and simply life, I couldn't find much time to draw. But one can't change oneself and my passion for illustration started to be felt. So, on the eve of October, I remembered that I wanted to challenge myself with Inktober. A good way to start the machine back while softly.
As I had internet only on my phone until now, it was complicated for me to post here. Therefore, we're already on the 19th of October and I will then share all at once the Inktober I've realised so far. You will notice that there are only 14 drawings... Yes I'm late, but no worry, the 31 drawings will be here at the end of the month :)

Oh yeah, and for those who don't know actually, the Inktober challenge consists in one drawing made with ink per day during the whole October :) My interpretation makes of it one black and white drawing made with ink, because those are techniques I don't master, so the interest is doubled, but the color is possible as long as it's a type of ink ! :)

Interlude

   Noël approchant, il faut faire preuve d'un peu d'imagination pour confectionner des petits cadeaux ! En ce moment, j'aime assez m'essayer (à nouveau) aux signes astrologiques... Dans des styles différents, dans des techniques différentes...

En illustration publicitaire, on se retrouve parfois face à des sujets étonnants ! Comme ici, créer une double page de magazine à l'effigie du Programme National de la Nutrition et de la Santé ventant les mérites de la consommation de vitamines !
En plus, l'hiver approche et les vitamines, ça maintient en bonne santé ! (c'était la pensée sage du jour)

Illustration réalisée uniquement en papier découpé, avec réhauts au crayon de couleur sur un fond à l'acrylique. (Le logo du programme a, lui, été réalisé à la gouache)

With advertising illustration, we are sometimes facing surprising subjects ! Like here, creating a two-page for a magazine at the effigy of the Nutrition and Health National Program, praising the merits of consuming vitamins !
Besides, winter is getting closer and vitamins keep you healthy !(that was the wise thought of the day)

Illustration realised exclusively with cut out paper, with colored pencils highlights on a painted with acrylic background. (The logo of the program has been realized with gouache)

Festivals

Deux affiches pour des festivals musicaux, fictifs ou réels, basées sur un même schéma de composition et extrêmement différents dans leur style...
Que dire de plus? L'ensemble est réalisé à l'acrylique avec quelques réhauts au crayon de couleur, et la typo de titre a été exécutée manuellement!

Two posters for musical festivals, imagined or real, based on the same outline for the composition and extremely different in their style...
What is to add? The whole was executed with acrylic and some coloured pencils highlights, and the title typography is hand-made!

Fire Cover

  En cette dernière semaine de cours de l'année, les règles sont simples... Sujet de typographie complètement libre! Enfin, pas si simple que ça car les sujets très libres m'effraient un peu, de par leur trop grande liberté et donc la très grande possibilité de se planter! Sans parler d'arriver à trouver ce que l'on va bien pouvoir faire... ^^ Enfin! Je n'ai mis pas trop de temps à trouver mon sujet, car je cherche depuis le début de l'année à caser quelque chose en rapport avec la musique, et ceci fût fait avec le travail que voici!
Une pochette pour l'album Rest Inside The Flames de 36 Crazyfists. Pour ceux qui connaissent, je n'ai pas la prétention d'avoir capté l'univers de l'album, car l'idée a été réfléchie assez vite et c'était plus un prétexte pour intégrer de la typo que de concevoir une réelle pochette d'album qui fonctionne. Néanmoins, je suis plutôt contente =)
Désolée, beaucoup de blabla pour un petit visuel!...

  For this last class week of the year, the rules are simple... Typography subject completely free of choice! Well, not that simple because the very free subjects scare me a bit, for their too big freedom and so their very high possibility to screw things up! Not to mention coming up with what we could so... ^^ Well! I didn't take too much time finding my subject, because I'm looking since the beginning of the year to put down something related to music, and this has been done with this upcoming work!

A cover for the album Rest Inside The Flames by 36 Crazyfists. For those who know about it, I'm not pretending that I could catch the ambience of the album, because the idea has been thought quite quickly and it was more a pretext to include some typo rather than concieving a real album cover that works. Nevertheless, I'm pretty happy =)
