Je me suis dit que peut-être il était temps de me présenter! Même si je trouve ma tête bizarre sur cette peinture, d'autres personnes m'ont dit que c'était ressemblant... En fait, c'est un exercice d'Histoire de l'Art que l'on nous a donné l'année passée. Il s'agissait de faire son autoportrait à la manière d'un artiste. J'ai choisi Botticelli, et ai essayé de rassembler un peu toutes les caractéristiques de sa peinture: tout d'abord c'est une huile -pas vraiment la technique de Botticelli mais en tout cas le plus approchant, du point de vue de l'époque aussi- j'ai essayé d'allonger les formes (visage et nez), de retranscrire ce regard perdu entre le mystique et la grosse fatigue! Et enfin, j'ai cerné les contours et tenté d'être le plus précise possible dans le tracé, et notamment dans la finesse des cheveux... Voilà pour la petite histoire, maintenant enjoy!

I thought that maybe it was the time where I would introduce myself! Even if I think I look weird on this painting, some other persons told me that it does look like me... Actually, it was an exercise for History of Art we were given last year. It was about making our self-portrait in some artist way. I chose Botticelli, and tried to gather a bit of all the characteristics of his painting: first, this is an oil painting -not really Botticelli's technic but at least the closest one, also considering the period- I tried to make the shapes longer (face and nose), to translate this gaze lost between mystic and the big tierdness! And then, I drew the outlines darker et tried to be as precise as possible in the drawing, especially with how thin the hair is... That's all for the little story, now enjoy!
