**°° Christmas, Winter, Snow... °°**

    I have weeks of delay, but that way I will be able to give a very long post with many pictures, and I hope you'll like :)
Right above is the last winter animal that I finished for my bi project that was my very first Christmas market ever ! Just like the spring animals, those four new illustrations were meant to be printed as postcards and fine art prints.

I let you discover below what my table was loking like on the market, and all the products I presented there.

    Après un bon moment de doute et quelques difficultés, voilà enfin le troisième animal de l'hiver terminé ! Si tout va bien, il n'en manque plus qu'un pour compléter la collection et vous en révéler un peu plus sur le projet !! :)

    Je suis un peu en retard, mais voici l'animal qui se cachait derrière ce parterre de neige et de pommes de pin :) Un loup rêveur qui attend peut-être l'arrivée du Père Noël... ^^

Autumn vibes !

    Je suis de moins en moins présente sur ce blog, mais c'est vrai que j'ai pas mal de travail ces temps-ci ! Et pour tenter de me faire pardonner, voici non pas une nouvelle info mais DEUX nouvelles infos !
  La première, ci-dessus, est le résultat d'un concours que j'avais lancé sur ma page Facebook à l'occasion de mes 100 likes (youhou !!). J'avais demandé aux participants de choisir un animal de leur choix, et le gagnant recevrait une illustration originale exclusive de cet animal. Cela aura mis du temps car, une fois encore, je manquais un peu de temps, mais je suis plutôt contente du résultat :)

  Le seconde, ci-dessous, est un aperçu d'un projet encore un peu secret, que je dévoilerai un peu plus en détails fin novembre-début décembre. Alors revenez dans ces eaux-là pour la grande révélation, haha ;)

    I'm less and less present on this blog, but it's true that I have quite a lot of work lately! And as an attempt to make myself forgiven, here is not one piece of news but TWO news !
  The first one above is the result of a contest that I had launched on my Facebook page to celebrate the 100 likes (woohoo !!). I had asked the participants to choose an animal of their choice, and the winner would receive an exclusive original illustration of this animal. This will have taken some time because, again, I was missing time, but I'm pretty happy about the result :)

  The second one below is a glimpse at a yet a bit secret project, that I will unveil more in details by the end of November - beginning of December. So come back and check up around that time for the great revelation, haha ;)

    Je reviens enfin plus d'un mois après mon dernier post ! C'est que... Le temps me manque un peu pour avancer sur de nouvelles choses !! :) Mais, comme le montre l'extrait ci-dessus, la deuxième illustration pour mon projet d'album est bien en marche !! On dirait bien qu'il s'agit de la naissance du héros... Et je me suis amusée à faire tout plein de petits brins de paille ! Haha ^^
En tout cas, j'ai hâte de la terminer, que ce projet prenne un peu corps :)

    I'm coming  back at last more than a month after my last post ! It's that... Time is missing a bit to move forward on new things !! :) But, as the extract above is showing, the second illustration for my children's book project is well on its way !! It seems so that it's about the birth of the hero... And I had fun to do many little sprigs of straw ! Haha ^^
Anyway, I can't wait to finish it, so that project starts to take some consistence :)

    Mon projet en collaboration avec l'auteur Christos compte à présent une planche terminée ! Ouf ! Ce fut un peu long (depuis le temps que je n'avais pas fait de grandes illus comme ça ! On rouille !!) mais ça y est, celle-ci est terminée :)
La suite risque d'être assez longue, mais même si très occupée, je ne lâche pas l'affaire ;) Je vous tiendrai au courant de la suite, dans la limite du possible ! (Je ne veux pas non en dévoiler trop :))

    My project in collaboration with the author Christos is now counting one board done ! Phew ! It was a bit long (after such a long time that I hadn't done those kind of big illustrations ! We get rusted !!) but that's it, this one is done :)
The rest will be most likely rather long to come, but even if very busy, I'm not letting go of it ;) I will kep you updated for what's next, as far as I can ! (I don't want either to unveil too much :))

Tel le lapin d'Alice...

... Je suis toujours en retard !! En effet, j'ai oublié de poster des petites nouveautés par ici !
Depuis bien des mois, je travaille sur un projet d'album avec l'auteur Christos, et même si ça n'avance qu'à petits pas, les progrès se font quand même sentir.
Donc je laisse ici à qui veut un petit aperçu de mes croquis pour ce projet. En espérant que ça vous plaise :)
Et je vais tâcher de ne pas oublier de poster un autre aperçu d'ici quelques jours !!

... I'm always late!! Indeed, I forgot to post some little news around here!
It's been months that I'm working on a book project with the author Christos, and even if it's moving on only with little steps, progress can still be felt.
So I leave here for who wants a little hint of my sketches for this project. Hopefully you will like it :)
And I will try not to forget to post another hint in most likely a few days !!

Here they are !!!

    This is what my "secret project" was all about ! My spring animals have been made in collaboration with the little shop Harjun Paperi in Jyväskylä, Finland. And here is the result, four brand new postcards. On sale in the shop since Tuesday and on their Facebook page, these postacards have already been sent to reprint ;)

I am really, really happy about this project because I loved painting those animals and most of all, I'm happy I've been trusted. And it seems it has success ! :)

    And to make this experience even greater, I have been offered just a bit more than a week ago to settle an exhibition along with two other classmates of mine. We are all studying Finnish in this "school for adults" but the same building include also no other than the main library of the city, which is also the main library of the whole area of Central-Finland ! It started on Friday the 6th and will stay until the 20th. It is a real pleasure, albeit a bit of pressure, to expose there :)

    But because two never comes without three, I have a third great piece of news to announce.
I have been invited this year again to a meeting around the book, organized by the bookshop La Portée des Mots in Salon-de-Provence, France ! These adorable people had welcomed me already last spring to present my work and sign my freshly released book.
This meeting starts at 10, on the place down from the castle, and it's going to be amazing I'm sure ^^ I can't wait to be there !!!

    Voilà, cette boule de pics marque la fin de mon projet ! Mes quatre bestioles vont prendre vie sous une autre forme, que je vous dévoile plus tard dans la semaine. J'ai hâte de pouvoir vous en parler !! Entre autres choses, je vous parlerai également de deux chouettes évènements auxquels je vais participer ce mois-ci.     Here it is, this ball of prickles settles the end of my project ! My four beasties will be brought to life under another form, that I unveil for you later this week. I can't wait to be able to talk about it !! Among other things, I will also talk to you about to lovely events to which I'll take part this month. The month of April was intense and the month of May promises to be as well !!
I hope that you will have enjoyed thi series and I'm looking forward to giving you furthermore details !

** Lintu sur une souche **

    Si vous suivez mon blog, ce petit oiseau vous semblera familier. En effet, il était à la base un dessin encré simplement en noir et blanc, que j'avais fait dans le cadre de mon Inktober 2015.
Il se trouve qu'il collait parfaitement à mon nouveau projet secret et j'ai donc été ravie de lui donner quelques couleurs :) (D'ailleurs, ce dessin faisait partie de ceux que je voulais reproduire en peinture déjà à la base !)
J'espère donc qu'il vous plaît et j'espère également pouvoir vous en dire plus très bientôt sur ce projet qui me ravit :)

    If you are a follower of my blog, this little bird will talk to you. Indeed, it was in the first place a drawing simply inked in black and white, that I had done within my Inktober 2015.
It happens that it was perfectly fitting my new secret project and I was then very pleased to give it some colours :) (Actually, this drawing was among those for which I wanted a painted version already from the beginning !)
I hope then that you like it and I also hope that I can very soon tell you more about that project that makes me really happy :)

     Eh oui, je suis en Finlande alors il faut bien y faire honneur et avoir des titres en finnois de temps en temps ! :)
Surtout que cette petite illustration que voici que voilà est la première vraie illustration en couleurs que je fais depuis que je suis ici !! (Je ne compte pas mon petit renard de Noël qui, sans mentir, avait été réalisé en trois pauvres heures dans la nuit du 23 au 24 décembre...) Neuf mois sans peindre, quand on y pense, ça fait un peu peur... Mais je devrais être de retour avec ce petit ours et quelques autres qui vont suivre pour un projet tout mignon tout frais dans mon nouveau pays ! :)

    Well yes, I'm in Finland so I have to honnour it by having Finnish titles from time to time ! :)
Especially since this little illustration that you can see here is the first real coloured illustration that I do since I'm here !! (I'm not counting my little Christmas fox which, without lying, has been realised in three poor hours during the night of the 23 to the 24 of December...) Nine months without painting, when you think about it, is a bit scary... But I should be back with this little bear and a few others that will follow for a project all lovely and all fresh in my new country ! :)

    Et pour me faire pardonner de si peu de news ces derniers temps, voici donc un petit WIP de cette illu qui marque peut-être un renouveau pour moi ! :)

    Hey ! Long time no see ! :)
It takes quite  along time but I have new big projects to come and that I have to get prepared for. So in order to be not too lost when the time comes, I wanted to train myself a bit in doing colors again. And it's coming way more easily than I thought, which is a god thing. Let's see if I can keep going without ruining it :) And of course, I'll show you here the result when it's done !
