   Me revoilà avec de nouvelles études pour des oiseaux, cette fois-ci en couleurs !
Une illustration complète va suivre bientôt, avec des oiseaux également, puis je passerai à autre chose ! Attendez-vous à ce qu'il y ait cependant des plumes dans l'air pendant encore quelques temps...

   Here I am again with new tests for birds, this time with colors !
A full illustration will soon follow, featurings birds as well, then I'll step onto something else ! Expect though some feathers in the air for quite a little more time...

Et voilà comme prévu le rendu final pour cette boule de plumes et son amie !
Je suis contente de l'avoir enfin terminé après tout ce temps dans ma tête et pour continuer dans cette lignée, d'autres oiseaux suivront prochainement.

And here is, as planned, this ball of feathers and its friend !
I am glad that I have finished it at last after all this time spent in my head and to keep going with that line, other birds will come in (near) future.

Feathers in the air... [step 1]

   Voici la première étape d'un dessin que j'avais envie de faire depuis assez longtemps (pour information, ça se compte en années... Ou presque. Bon d'accord, c'était il y a un peu plus d'un an !) J'avais envie de m'essayer aux oiseaux dans mes recherches de style, ici avec sa partenaire humaine ! 
Après mes nuances de base à l'encre de Chine, on passe aux détails... La suite arrive bientôt !

   Here is the first step of a drawing I wanted to do for quite a long time (for the record, it shall be counted in years... Or almost. Alright, it was a little more than a year ago !) I wanted to try myself at birds among my stylistic searches, here with its human partner !
After my basis shades with India ink, let's go into details... The next step is coming soon !

Autrefois... Le Minotaure

 

   Aujourd'hui, j'ai enfin pu me procurer le très joli nouveau livre d'Agnès Domergue et Cécile Hudrisier, Autrefois l'Olympe... Mythes en haïku, que j'attendais avec assez d'impatience ! C'est à l'occasion de sa sortie que j'ai également participé à un petit concours sur le site d'Agnès Domergue, consistant à écrire et/ou illustrer un (ou tous) des mythes proposés.

Voici donc ma participation en dessin et, ci-dessous, le haïku correspondant !

   Today, I could at last go and get the very pretty new book by Agnès Domergue and Cécile Hudrisier, Autrefois l'Olympe... Mythes en haÏku (In Former Times the Olympus... Myths Written in Haïku), that I was waiting for quite impatiently ! It is at the occasion of its release that I have also participated to a little contest on Agnès Domergue's site, consisting in writing and/or illustrating one of (or all) the suggested myths.

So here is my drawn participation and, below, the corresponding haïku !

Pour célébrer le mois de Février ainsi que l'arrivée d'une petite vague de froid qui se faisait attendre, voici quelques semi-macro de gel, au petit matin :)
